Wildlife in Africa



Wildlife generally means the living of wild animals. It includes all the wild animals , plants, micro-organisms and etc. which are living in wild areas like forests.
Africa is one of the largest wildlife region. All these wild animals are surrounded by seas, oceans and islands. It includes variety of wildlife like snakes, birds, predators. The region consist of more than 299 mammals and 858 birds of species.
The african region consist of many species of animals , birds, insects and fishes. It's one the most widely spread network of wildlife. Africa is surrounded by the oceans and so the the mainly wild animals live near them.



Some of the famous and rarely found animals in africa are Cape Buffalo , Gemsbok , Kudu.
The cape buffalo is one of the powerful animal and is very much capable of defending itself from enemies. The gemsbok is an African animal that moves in a group of 10-40. The group is mainly dominated by males having straight and thin at the top. Animal kudu is of two types Greater kudu and lesser kudu. The greater kudu is generally found in south africa and lesser ludu is rarely found.

Birds like ostrich , goshawk , eagle , spotted eagle-owl found there
Snakes like Eastern green mamba, Black mamba, cape cobra found there.

Wildlife in India



Wildlife generally means the living of wild animals. It includes all the wild animals , plants, micro-organisms and etc. which are living in wild areas like forests.
Now the Wildlife in India comprises of many different types of species of flora and fauna. There are tigers, lions, pythons, snakes, reptiles, Fox etc. The wildlife of India is protected amongst the 89 national parks, 18 Bio reserves and 400+ wildlife sanctuaries. India is among the top hotspots of wildlife. India consist of largest of tiger population.



 India is home to many well-known mammals like elephant , tiger, leopard. Some rare mammals are gail, gaur, bengal fox, dhole, Gee's golden langur. The Gee's Golden langur are one of the rarest monkey's found in the world.
Now the conservation of flora and fauna is very important task in India. In constitution of india it's also written that it is right of every citizen of india to protect the flora and fauna of country.
There are many animals that are been listed in endangered species of India like the Black buck, snowleopard (found in himalayas) , dhole (the wild dog) etc.

As we know that India is a mega-diversity center, so the national animals of India are Listed Below :
  • NATIONAL ANIMAL : Bengal Tiger.
  • NATIONAL HERITAGE ANIMAL : Elephant.
  • NATIONAL MAMMAL : Langur.
  • NATIONAL AQUATIC ANIMAL : Dolphin.
  • NATIONAL BIRD : Peacock.
